Special Sessions Proposals
Important Date
November 02, 2010: Special Session proposal submission deadline
Submission Requirements
Special Sessions consist of oral presentations by a group of speakers invited by the session organizer, designed to address a specific topic.
A special session allows coordinated presentations by a group of scientists and/or managers working in a specific area. Sessions are usually a half-day or full-day in length, and can include scheduled time for discussion and interaction. The submitter(s) should have sufficient background to design the program, recruit high quality presenters, and moderate the program at the Congress.
All special sessions proposals will be reviewed by the Program Committee, and accepted with the concurrence of the Congress Steering Group. Sessions may be accepted as proposed, rejected, or suggested for combination with similar sessions proposed by others. The Program Committee may ask the special session coordinator to accept contributed papers with similar themes into the same session.
